I. Overview
1. Product application and usage range
GSH900 mining speed sensor is mining intrinsically safe type structure, which could be used for the place under coal mine with coal dust and methane explosive gas, and is used as the collection device of speed detection signal in the Belt Conveyor electrical control system.

4. Related devices
The related device of the sensor is KHP121A-Z coal mine explosion proof and intrinsically safe type controller of Belt Conveyor Protection device.
5. Ambient condition
5.1 Normal working condition
a) Altitude less than 2000m.
b) Ambient temperature within 0℃~+40℃.
c) Relative humidity not over 95% (+25℃).
d) Atmospheric pressure: 80kPa~106kPa
e) The place under mine with coal dust and methane explosive gas.
f) The place without corrosive gas which could damage metal and insulation.
g) No serious vibration.

a) High temperature: +60℃.
b) Low temperature: -40℃.
c) Relative humidity not over 95% (25℃).

III. Structure features
The structure of speed sensor is shown in below figure. The speed sensor is made by using epoxy resin to seal the detection element and circuit board in a cylindrical brass shell,This sensor has small size, light weight, which is easy to install and use, there is long enough reserved cable witch can connect into the control device directly. Size: 75mm×101mm×20mm. shell material: brass H62. Weight: 1.5kg
IV. Working Process and Principle
This speed sensor is based on the Hall induction principle, detecting the magnetic field artificially put on the measure object, and use this magnetic field as the carrier of the object information be measured, so that to change the non-electric, non-magnetic physical quantity (speed) of the measured object into electric quantity to detect and control.
V. Installation and wiring
During the installation of the speed sensor, the speed generator and the passive rotating roller of the belt conveyor should be fixed in concentric, then the sensor and the speed generator should be fixed vertically, to adjust the height of the sensor so that the diameter φ25 magnetic steel on the speed generator could go through the center of the testing side when the speed generator rotates with the belt conveyor. When install the speed sensor, on the circumstance of no touch to the magnetic steel, the closer the better.
VI. Usage attention
1. The structure and every electrical parameters of the sensor have been debugged before leaving the factory, the user shall not change its structure and electrical parameters at will to ensure the performance of protection, explosion-proof and intrinsically safe. This product can only be used with designated device, or the devices have explosion proof tested.
2. There should be no iron object between the sensor and magnetic steel. The sensor is installed after debugging, the working condition of the sensor directly determines whether the deviation protection of the control device can work, and the non-professional personnel is not allowed to take off or install the sensor.
3. It is necessary to test the magnetic induction intensity regularly, if it is less than 1100 Gs, the magnetic steel should be replaced in time.
4. The improper changes of internal components wiring may cause equipment damage, our company does not bear the liability and economic losses caused by above-mentioned accident.
5. The packing carton can be used for all kinds of transportation including land and water under the condition of avoiding direct rain and snow.
6. The packaged device can be stored in the warehouses with air circulation, the temperature is (-10~40)℃, relative humidity not over 90% for more than 12 months.
7. Take out the packing list and compare with each item to confirm the conformity.
8. To check the nameplate on the sensor is comply with the order requirement.
